ZAP CEO Says Electric Cars Bridge Gap to Hydrogen Infrastructure on WallSt.net
SANTA ROSA, California (November 11, 2003) - Battery-powered cars are available today and can help drive the world towards a hydrogen fuel economy, says Steve Schneider, CEO for ZAP (OTC BB:ZAPZ), during an interview scheduled to air today on http://www.WallSt.net.
Government and industry are discussing new energy policies to help boost fuel economy that would convert America's transportation fueling infrastructure from fossil fuels to hydrogen. Experts tout hydrogen-powered cars because the only emissions would be water vapor and oxygen, but say the infrastructure could be a decade or more away. Schneider says consumers can help this happen sooner by investing in today's battery-electric technologies.
