ZAP Receives Order for 100 New Electric SUVs from Samyang Optics
SEOUL, Korea, SANTA ROSA, California and HANGZHOU, China (February 22, 2010) – Electric vehicle pioneer ZAP (OTC BB: ZAAP) has accepted a purchase order from Samyang Optics Co. Ltd. (KSE: 008080.KS) of Korea for 100 electric SUVs to be built through a partnership with China auto manufacturer Zhejiang Jonway Automobile Co. Ltd.
ZAP Electric Vehicles Qualify for GSA Requisition
WASHINGTON, DC -- January 12, 2010 -- Electric transportation pioneer ZAP (OTC.BB:ZAAP - News) announced the inclusion of its vehicles on the General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 78, number GS-03F-0051W, expanding opportunities in the government fleet market.
ZAP's entire line of electric trucks and vans, along with its ATV, are now available through GSA and can be found on the "GSA Advantage!" online ordering website. These include the Zaptruck XL, Zapvan, and ZAP Dude ATV. Approval by GSA makes ZAP vehicles more readily accessible to U.S. government agencies and their respective purchasing agents around the world.

UPS Leases Fleet of ZAP Electric Trucks for Third Consecutive Year, Totaling 92 Vehicles since 2007
SANTA ROSA, California (December 9, 2009) – For the third year in a row, UPS has leased a fleet of electric trucks from ZAP (OTC BB: ZAAP) to help with deliveries to urban and residential communities in the Bay Area.
The 25 ZAP electric trucks are enabling UPS drivers to more easily schedule delivery routes in neighborhoods and dense urban areas where congestion and parking restrictions present potential problems for larger UPS vans. UPS has leased 92 electric vehicles from ZAP since 2007 to assist with increased delivery needs during November and December.
