A martial arts comic rides into battle on his ZAPPY® scooter.
MALIBU, California (September 26, 2003) - As Hollywood converges on the Malibu International Film Festival, the ZAPPY® electric scooter from ZAP (OTC BB:ZAPZ) is scheduled to make a red carpet appearance on the Saturday, September 27th to promote its role in the new martial arts comedy "All Babes Want to Kill Me."
ZAP's ZAPPY folding scooter has earned numerous supporting roles on and off the big-screen in Hollywood. Fun, practical and silent, rumor has it the ZAPPY has become so popular on movie lots that some studios have banned them, which ZAP says only adds to its mystique. In its latest role, ZAPPY plays a trusty steed in the new Karate comedy "All Babes Want to Kill Me" from High Cotton Films. According to the film notes, "a martial artist is afflicted with a rare disease that makes beautiful women want to kill him. He embarks on a suicide mission to find true love anyway. Set against the collapse of the Cho family dynasty, three dysfunctional karate brothers engage in all manner of skullduggery vying for their father's riches."
