OBVIO Provides Grist for Small Car Debate

"We think we're in love!"

A little green car has made the top five items listed on Grist.org.

Along with cruelty-free mascara, walking to work, bi-lingual biohazard signs and the Montreal Climate Summit, the OBVIO 828 to be imported to the U.S. from Brazil by ZAP made number four on "The Grist List," Grist.org's weekly list of the weird, wacky and wonderful from the environmental world.

"We think we're in love," say editors Sarah Van Schagen and Katherine Wroth about the concept car that takes the idea of a hybrid one step further. By using a flex-fueled engine, the 828 becomes a "trybrid"--able to use gas, electricity and alcohol.
