| GUARANTEE ZAP has a 14 day unconditional, money-back guarantee on all Power and Portable Energy Products. If a product is returned for a refund customer must pay for shipping back to ZAP. * 14 day guarantee not valid for the Zapino's, Zappy Electric Scooter's, Xebra's, Zaptruck XL's, ZAPVAN Shuttle's. WARRANTY ZAP power and portable energy products are backed by a 90-Day Warranty. Any product being claimed as originally damaged or defective is subject to the manufacturer's repair/replacement policy. Warranty is automatically activated when you purchase your ZAP Product. Warranty includes replacement parts and repairs. Warranty is voided if the product is rented, used in a manner other than recreation, or modified in any way. Product warranties subject to change. No warranty on batteries after 3 months from ship date. Zapino's, Xebra's, Zaptruck XL's, ZAPVAN Shuttle's. have a 6 month warranty from ship date. Scooters purchased on E-Bay or similar sites will not be warrantied. There are no warranties or returns on clearance, E-bay, or warehouse items, or 2nd party purchases, or used items. If a product is originally damaged or defective, follow the return/replacement policy. Originally damaged or defective products are subject to the manufacturer's repair/replacement policy and are not refundable. Note: All returns must be requested by calling 1-800-251-4555. Returns will not be accepted without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) #. Returns will not be accepted after 90 days from the delivery date. If the product is damaged during freight, you should not accept it. Report the damage to the freight courier for proper return. Please contact ZAP immediately. We will make every effort to cancel or change an order at your request. However, if the order has already been processed for shipping and distribution, you will incur the return shipping fee and a 15% Restocking Fee. The original shipping and handling fee is non-refundable; terms in the Return Policy will apply. You will receive the tracking number within 2- business days after order has been processed. Terms in the Return Policy will apply if you are still requesting the cancellation. Military discounts / Stockholders discounts 15% on all orders. Multiple item orders may be shipped in separate packages depending on the availability from our different warehouse locations at no extra cost to you. ZAP normally uses UPS, FedEx, and DHL for delivery service. We will also provide you a shipment tracking number when your item ships. Freight truck is used for oversized items and may take additional time for delivery. Freight truck delivery is Curbside Delivery only. Any Truck Lift Gate Fee (truck unloading) will be the customer’s responsibility. DURING HOIDAY PERIODS PLASE E-MAIL DUE TO HEAVY CALL VOLUME Important notice on 2008 Xebra brakes ZAP was contacted recently by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration regarding their routine re-testing of a 2008 Xebra for conformance under US motorcycle safety standards. Although originally tested by independent testing labs as being compliant and approved by NHTSA, NHTSA now finds these vehicles as requiring longer distances to stop than the standard allows. ZAP has been working to respond to this brake compliance issue. No incidents or injuries related to the braking issue have been reported to us. We have been examining the manufacturing procedures and technical support to establish methods so our authorized service centers have a modification to bring the brakes on the 2008 Xebras into compliance. We have had ongoing discussions regarding this with NHTSA and an independent testing lab and have proposed several minor modifications to the braking system as the most efficient and effective solution. We are now waiting on the final testing of these modifications and anticipate hearing within the next several days that modifications have been certified. As soon as we hear from NHTSA and their acceptance, we will continue to follow established protocols in informing dealers and service personnel about the modifications and to alert owners of 2008 Xebras on how to obtain the braking system modification at no cost to them. Any authorized ZAP dealer will be able to make the change as soon as recommended modifications are approved.
