Lighthouse Marketing Leads ZAP's (OTC BB: ZAAP) Recharge-It-All Battery Line Sales
LAS VEGAS, NV--Jan 9, 2007 -- ZAP (OTC BB:ZAAP.OB), a leader in renewable energy innovation, announced today that it has signed up Lighthouse Marketing to sell its new Recharge-It-All Battery line of advanced power source technology.
"It's all about speed to market," says ZAP's Sales Manager for North America Steve Tucker. "Lighthouse enjoys excellent business relationships with some of the biggest and best retailers in the market. We want to be a part of doing business with retailers like Target, Comp USA and Office Max."
Tucker says a respected rep firm like Lighthouse Marketing can help accelerate the marketing for a consumer electronics accessory with the design and functionality of ZAP's battery technology. "Our Recharge-It-All line has the potential to take major market share in this new category of power products. We know Lighthouse Marketing will help us towards that goal."
ZAP is attending the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) January 8 to 11 to introduce the line that includes the Laptop Recharge-It-All Battery M48 that retails for about $140 and believes this product can revolutionize business travel. "The Universal Laptop product from ZAP will be a strong seller and demonstrates ZAP's commitment to this new emerging category," says Bob McGeeney, President of Lighthouse Marketing. "We really like what we have seen from their design and engineering team." The 49-watt universal battery will power and charge laptop batteries and other mobile devices through the USB output. ZAP also offers the iZAP Portable Energy, designed specifically for the iPod line. Lighthouse will represent the iZAP for iPod video that features play time of up to 10 hours. "There is nothing better than bringing your own movies on a trip and being able to watch them uninterrupted for 10 hours," says Tucker. ZAP believes the iZAP will be a hit with iPod video users everywhere.
