ZAP Announces Smart Car Receives Certificate of Conformity for 2006 from EPA

SANTA ROSA, California (November 8, 2005) - Transportation pioneer ZAP (OTC BB: ZAAP) announced today that the Smart Car has received a Certificate of Conformity from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the 2006 Certification Year.

The Certificate of Conformity was issued for the Smart Pure, Pulse and Passion tested during the 2005 calendar year and expires on December 31, 2006.
