SANTA ROSA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 2005--ZAP (OTCBB:ZAAP - News), pioneering the next generation of advanced transportation and energy technologies, announced today it would be delivering U.S. certified Smart Cars Americanized by ZAP to qualified dealers in eight U.S. states. All vehicles have been paid for and are in ZAP's current inventory of Smart Cars purchased from suppliers not affiliated with DaimlerChrysler and/or smart GmbH.
