ZAP's Smart Car orders leap again to over $55 million

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (February 8, 2005) - California automaker and distributor ZAP (OTC BB:ZAAP) announced today that it has received more purchase orders for the Smart Car Americanized by ZAP, with orders in-hand totaling over $55 million.

ZAP treated auto dealers to a little piece of Europe at its display during NADA 2005 in New Orleans.
