ZAP Hosts Electric Auto Association Chapter Meeting in December

On Saturday December 13, ZAP hosted a monthly meeting for the North Bay Chapter of the Electric Auto Association. The Electric Auto Association is a non-profit educational organization for the promotion of clean, quiet electric vehicles (EVs) for personal transportation.

The Electric Auto Association (EAA) was formed in 1967 in San Jose, California. The EAA's mission is "to act as a public source of information about developments in electric vehicle technology, to encourage experimentation in the building of electric vehicles, and to organize public exhibits and events of electric vehicles to educate the public on the progress and benefits of electric vehicle technology.

SANTA ROSA, California (December 10, 2004) - Automotive manufacturer ZAP (OTC BB:ZAAP) announced today that its Board of Directors have decided to hold on the forward stock split announced on November 23 because of recent developments.

SANTA ROSA, California (December 9, 2004) - Within hours of putting the first legal U.S. SMART Car on eBay, bidders rushed to become the first to own one, said U.S. distributor ZAP (OTC BB:ZAAP).

ZAP has received $2.98 million in purchase orders for the fuel-efficient SMART Car since it was unveiled at the San Francisco International Auto Show on November 22, 2004.

SEBASTOPOL, California (December 7, 2004) - Automotive technology pioneer ZAP (OTC BB:ZAAP) announced today it has received wholesale purchase orders for the SMART Car totaling $2,980,000 from U.S. automotive dealers.

ZAP hosted a display of SMART Cars at the Southern California Investment Assn. conference Saturday, December 4 held at the Hilton Hotel in Irvine, California.

AGRA, India (AFP) - As many as five million deaths are caused by air pollution every year in India, the country's junior Environment and Forest Minister Namo Narayan Meena said.
