ZAP WORLDCAR to Air on Discovery Channel

SANTA ROSA, California (December 8, 2003) – Discovery Channel Canada's program Daily Planet is scheduled to air a segment featuring a new electric car from ZAP (OTC BB:ZAPZ) on Tuesday, December 9, 2003.

According to Discovery Channel Canada producer and on-air columnist, Shannon Bentley, the ZAP® WORLDCAR™ segment is airing in Canada this coming Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 7pm, and 11pm Eastern Time, repeating Wednesday at 4am, 9am, and Noon Eastern Time. The segment will also be available on the Internet at http://www.exn.ca and is expected to air in the United States on Discovery's digital channel Science in early 2004.

ZAP CEO Says Electric Cars Bridge Gap to Hydrogen Infrastructure on WallSt.net

Government and industry are discussing new energy policies to help boost fuel economy that would convert America's transportation fueling infrastructure from fossil fuels to hydrogen. Experts tout hydrogen-powered cars because the only emissions would be water vapor and oxygen, but say the infrastructure could be a decade or more away. Schneider says consumers can help this happen sooner by investing in today's battery-electric technologies.

ZAP CEO Says Chinese Partners Can Import 'Thousands' of Electric Cars

SANTA ROSA, California (November 4, 2003) - In an interview with MoneyTV, Steve Schneider, CEO for electric car company ZAP (OTC BB:ZAPZ), said its manufacturing partners in China have the ability to import thousands of unit to North America.

In October Schneider was interviewed by MoneyTV on location at the American Stock Exchange in New York City. MoneyTV is a nationally syndicated television program featuring interviews with CEOs, insights into their operations and outlooks for their futures.

ZAP Plugs into Auto Sales

SANTA ROSA, California (October 24, 2003) - Officials at ZAP (OTC BB:ZAPZ) and Voltage Vehicles say their new electric cars have sparked sales interest as dealers and consumers catch their first glimpse at industry events around the country.

ZAP CEO Steve Schneider says that its automotive distribution subsidiary Voltage Vehicles has started to receive orders for the new electric cars, which are being introduced today at the annual conference for the Independent Auto Dealers Association of California (www.iadac.org), which runs through Saturday in Reno, Nevada. Schneider added that the cars were shown at a similar event last week in Florida and people were impressed because nothing like this has ever been offered to American consumers before.
