ZAP Plugs into Auto Sales

SANTA ROSA, California (October 24, 2003) - Officials at ZAP (OTC BB:ZAPZ) and Voltage Vehicles say their new electric cars have sparked sales interest as dealers and consumers catch their first glimpse at industry events around the country. ZAP CEO Steve Schneider says that its automotive distribution subsidiary Voltage Vehicles has started to receive orders for the new electric cars, which are being introduced today at the annual conference for the Independent Auto Dealers Association of California (www.iadac.org), which runs through Saturday in Reno, Nevada. Schneider added that the cars were shown at a similar event last week in Florida and people were impressed because nothing like this has ever been offered to American consumers before.
