ZAP's New LEPTON™ Electric Scooter Featured in Popular Science

SEBASTOPOL, California - (September 18, 2001) Popular Science has selected the new LEPTON™ electric scooter from ZAP (Nasdaq:ZAPP) for its October 2001 "What's New" section. The California electric vehicle pioneer says it has received its first shipment of the Italian electric scooters and is now filling orders.

Electric scooter pioneer ZAP unveils 2002 model ZAPPY(R) electric scooter

SEBASTOPOL, Calif. - (September 5, 2001) - ZAPPY®, the electric scooter that helped pioneer a revolution in 1997, has been redesigned for 2002 with several upgrades and is now available, according to the Northern California manufacturer ZAP (Nasdaq:ZAPP).
